Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Mirrox, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Mirrox is

Mirrox connects directly to a Mac's built-in Screen Sharing (VNC) service over your local network or Tailscale and lets you view and control that Mac. The entire VNC protocol is implemented in the app; Mirrox does not provide a hosted remote desktop service, cloud relay, or managed server, and it requires no Mirrox account.

Using the app

You may use Mirrox for personal and professional remote access. You agree to use it only with computers, accounts, and networks that you own or are authorized to access, and not to misuse it, attempt to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your devices, VNC passwords, Apple account, and networks secure.
• Comply with applicable laws and your network's policies.
• Do not use Mirrox to access, damage, monitor, or control systems without permission.
• Back up important data before using any remote control tool.

Availability and reliability

Whether a particular Mac is reachable depends on your Mac's Screen Sharing configuration, your local network, and any VPN or tailnet you use — all of which are outside our control. Mirrox is provided "as is" and "as available," and we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

App Store and platform terms

Your download and use of Mirrox is also governed by Apple's App Store terms, Apple platform rules, and any applicable iCloud terms. Where Apple platform terms conflict with these terms, the Apple terms may control for Apple-provided services.

Purchases

If Mirrox offers paid downloads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, payment, billing, and refunds are handled by the App Store under Apple's billing terms. Any subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Availability and pricing may change.

Intellectual property

Mirrox, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by its developer or licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, or access arising from your use of Mirrox.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app, platform requirements, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be identified by the date at the top of this page, and continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
